Team Meeting 10.24.15 (Software)

Today during the team meeting, Alex and Eric focused on beginning on the Calibration and Threshold Processes of the Matlab Software. Alex spent majority of the time trying to download data off of SAMI through a string input, but was running into the problem of creating a JSON string. Besides that, Alex was able to find how to convert the specific start and stop times into epoch unix time, which will make data downloading more consistent. Alex will be meeting with Farhad, in order to create a JSON string from scratch in Matlab, so that the getPortalSnapshot method will work properly. Also, Alex researched into common algorithms that are used in order to determine the variability of any signal, and will meet with Farhad for additional suggestions.

Eric spent most of the time, researching Wavelets and the fourier transforms of the walking data generated by Eric and Alex. Eric and Alex will be meeting with Farhad remotely on 10.27.15 in order to discuss additional options and ask for assistance.
