Meeting with Professor Madigan

Today, group leader Karly met with Prof. Madigan to discuss the project progress and plans as well as schedule a time to visit Judson Manor Senior Living to collect data, interview users, and conduct initial algorithm tests using the Samsung Simband. We also determined that we will collect the same data that we have with the Simband but using other fitness trackers (the Fitbit, Apple watch, and Jawbone). Collecting data using other fitness bands will allow us to compare our device and algorithm counter to other devices currently on the market. Our group will be going to Judson on October 9, 2015 at 9:00 am.
